No. The course is designed to take absolute beginners by the hand: we start with Python syntax fundamentals and gradually progress to real-world applications. The learning materials include step-by-step explanations and plenty of practice, so even without a technical background you’ll feel confident.

It’s fully self-paced. Most learners complete it in 6–8 weeks while spending about 4–5 hours per week. If you have more or less time, simply adjust the speed—lessons are available 24/7 and your progress is saved automatically.

A regular computer or laptop with internet access is enough. All exercises run in the browser through a built-in coding environment, so there’s nothing to install locally. If you’d like to code offline, we’ll show you how to set up popular editors for free.
